Do the most meaningful engineering work of your career.

We are building the operational foundation that makes enterprise technology actually work — permanently, in production, on terms businesses own. If that problem excites you, we should talk.

Two colleagues riding a paper plane toward their next challenge

We're not building software features. We're building operational foundations.

Most technology projects fail before they deliver value. Not because the tools are wrong. Because the foundation underneath — the data architecture, the operational structure, the governance layer — was never built to support what the business actually needs.

We fix that. We engineer platforms that sit over the systems organisations already run, unify their operations onto a single backbone, and make the entire business ready for whatever comes next — AI or otherwise. Every platform we deliver is owned outright by the client — their code, their IP, their data.

It is careful, foundational, consequential engineering. And we are looking for people who want to do it properly.

We hire on three things.

Ownership

01

You treat problems as yours to solve — not yours to escalate. When something is broken, you fix it. When something is missing, you build it. You do not wait to be asked.

#OWNIT

Depth

02

You are not satisfied with the answer that sounds right. You go further — into the architecture, the root cause, the second-order effect. You know that the most powerful solutions are usually the simplest ones, and that achieving simplicity takes real rigour.

#GODEEPER

Courage to Question

03

You do not accept "this is how it has always been done" as a reason. You challenge assumptions — respectfully, with evidence, and with the willingness to be wrong. The best idea in the room is the one that survives honest scrutiny.

What it's like here.

WayBeyond team members collaborating around a table

We work together, in person, out of Pune. Our team is in the office — because the kind of work we do is better when people are in the same room. Architecture decisions, client problem-solving, technical debates — these go faster, go deeper, and produce better outcomes when the team is present.

The founding team built this company on the belief that technology should follow thought. That ethos runs through every meeting, every build decision, every conversation about how something should work. You will be challenged here. You will be heard here. And you will see the direct result of what you build — in production, in real organisations, often faster than you expect.

Our values, in brief.

Think First. Build Second

We spend more time on the problem than the solution. Always.

Own What You Build. Forever

We build things that belong to the people they serve. That principle applies to our clients and to us.

Intelligence Before Features

We do not add complexity. We add clarity.

Simplicity Is the Hardest Engineering Problem

Elegance is the evidence that the engineering was done properly.

Every Engagement Leaves Something Permanent

Success is measured by what remains after we are done.

Challenge the Way It Has Always Been Done

If the answer is "this is how we've always done it," that is the beginning of the conversation, not the end.

We take care of our people.

Growth budget

Annual allocation for courses, certifications, and conferences.

Learning culture

Access to WayPoint, our own LMS platform, from day one.

Parental support

Generous leave for new parents, regardless of role.

Ownership mentality

Performance recognition tied to real impact, not hours logged.

Recognition

Contributions that move the needle get seen, named, and celebrated.

In their words.

The real craft is making the solution simple, which is harder than it sounds. It’s fulfilling to meet shifting markets and emerging tech with sound engineering, because for us the engineering is what’s core, not the tech.

Harshad Sontakke

Product Tech Head

What I value most about my experience at Waybeyond is the opportunity to take ownership and grow beyond a defined role. The thinking culture, diverse challenges and strong ownership have helped me strengthen my critical thinking and grow professionally.

Aditya Kulkarni

R & D Tech Head

At Waybeyond, there is a freedom to build, experiment, and make decisions with a strong sense of ownership. The flexibility and trust we share here creates an environment where both people and ideas can grow.

Where you might fit.

No all roles are open right now.

Tell us what you want to build and we will keep the conversation open.

Don't see a role that fits? Tell us what you want to build.

What you're probably wondering.

Typically: an initial conversation with our team lead, a practical task or architecture discussion relevant to the role, and a final conversation with a founder. We keep it focused and fast — usually three rounds over two weeks.

No. We are an in-office team based in Pune. We believe the kind of work we do — architecture, problem-solving, client-facing delivery — is done best together. Each role listing specifies any exceptions.

Yes, in select engineering roles. We care more about how you think than how many years you have been thinking. If you can demonstrate rigour, curiosity, and ownership, we want to hear from you.

ReactJS, Node.js, MongoDB/SQL, Docker. PWA-native. The Enabler framework is JavaScript end-to-end — manageable by any strong full-stack JS developer.

Yes. We operate on Enabler internally, use WayPoint for team learning, and run client engagements through Collaborator. You will be using what you build.

Yes. We hire on the quality of thinking, the depth of ownership, and the willingness to question. Background, gender, and where you studied do not factor into our decisions.

Aligned with how we think? Let's build something permanent together.

The AI everyone wants.
The foundation almost no one has.
